Literacy

This week I have been learning how to change boring words into funner words. I found this activity fun. I had to do this with a partner. 

30BC The BFG

As The BFG begins, Sophie lies in bed in an orphanage, unable to sleep. She creeps to the curtains to shut them against the moonlight. It is the Witching Hour, the time when everything is quiet and still, and she is curious about what the world looks like at this time. She sticks her head outside and sees a giant walking toward her carrying a suitcase and a huge, trumpet-like object. He puts something into the trumpet and inserts it into a window. Then he looks up and sees Sophie watching.

Book Week 2016 reflection

Book week 2016 

This week we had book week. Everyday this week we had a golden ticket that got hid sadly I didn't find one also on monday our class made a awesome door display. Our two door displays where The BFG and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. We had turbolet thursday that was very weird. Everyone also dressed up funny and silly  and wacky I had two watches and different colored socks. Today on friday we dressed up into are favorite  book character. I dressed up as jack hawkins off treasure island my friend came as I need a new bum. Our school has book character day once a year. I find book character very fun. Here are some photos

Reflection Term 3 Week 3 Numeracy

Numeracy

For maths we have been leaning fractions. My W.A.L.T is convert improper and mixed fractions and my other W.A.L.T is find fractions of whole numbers. I found this easy because I know some stuff about fractions.

Olympics

I learnt from this that ancient and modern olympics have a lot of things that are different. I have been researching and reading. 

I found this hard because we also had to go on the internet and read and watch so. This is what me and my buddy Anna did.
